There is something about the last rays of the day that elicit such warm, romantic feelings and if you ask me, twilight and dusk are the most magical time of the day to admire such picture-perfect scenes. With your favourite glass of wine in hand, surrounded by family or friends; perhaps, it is that perfect but very short time, that instigate you to self-reflect on how lucky you are to be experiencing such moments.

Gozo’s sunsets, are something of an event themselves. We are blessed with beautiful weather all year round but the most dramatic sunsets happen during Autumn and Winter seasons when temperatures are cooler and there is less humidity in the air.  

So, while on holiday with us during the low season period, besides benefitting from our generous prices, it is almost certain that you will also benefit from experiencing an aura of feelings that only a Gozitan sunset can offer you.

Believe me, you would not want to miss those stunning colours that light up the sky just before they slowly fade into darkness.

Most of our holiday homes enjoy dramatic sunsets but we are always willing to give you a tip on which property to choose if you are particularly keen to experience this from your kitchen window while dinner is being prepared. 

On the other hand, if your interests are more on how to experience sunsets from highly acclaimed areas in Gozo, while taking a stroll in the lush green countryside with the Mediterranean sea serving as a wide, blue backdrop to your photos, then, our recommendations are to seek pathways in the western side of the island such as Sanap cliffs, Xwejni Salt Pans, and Dwejra UNESCO Natural Reserve. However, hilltop villages such as Nadur, Xaghra, Zebbug and the Citadel in Victoria challenge the western side with great pride.
