To secure your booking 25% deposit is required. All major credit cards are accepted at no extra costs.

The remaining 75% balance will be charged 14 days prior arrival date from the same credit cards details you provided to confirm your booking.

Yes, upon arrival Eco Contribution Tax will have to be paid in cash for all persons 18 years or older irrespective of nationality. It amounts to €0.50 per person per night capped at a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay.

Yes, when you are charged the full balance, 14 days prior your arrival, we will also secure 300 euro from your credit card. This is to cover for any damages (excluding normal wear and tear) or any missing items. Please refer to our Booking Contract page and to our Guests’ Responsibilities page for full details. This security deposit will then be released automatically within a stipulated time frame according to your own bank regulations. Gozo Self Catering Holiday Homes however, have only 24 hours from your checkout to report any damage or missing items to you in writing.

Latest Check-out time is at 10:30 hrs; Earliest check-in time is at 14:30 hrs. However, whenever available, we are pleased to allow extra time at no extra costs during winter season. Contact us a few days prior your arrival and this can be discussed further. 

Minimum stays vary from 2 nights to 7 nights depending on the season and/or demand. For example: low season – minimum 2 night stays required; peak season – minimum 7 night stays required. However we can sometimes accommodate shorter stays whenever our bookings’ schedule allows. 1 night stays or days by the pool are NOT allowed all year round.

 

Yes, all utility charges are included in your booking except the use of Air-conditioning/heating units.

In most properties, these units can be operated through a Euro-Coin-Meter, pay-per-use system and electricity rates are set at €0.33 (Excl VAT).

In some other properties without such coin operated systems, guests will have to pay any extra electricity consumed daily above 45 units. The rate is set at at €0.33 (Excl VAT)

Our holiday homes have different configurations which are clearly detailed on this website. Our recommendation for your own comfort is that the number of adults does not exceed the number of standard bedding i.e. double bed – 2 adults; single bed – 1 adult. Any other type of bedding such as sofa beds and folding beds are recommended for children 17 years or younger. Infants and toddlers are more than welcome at no extra costs and 1 cot and 1 highchair can be requested until 3 days prior your arrival.

In most cases one of our representatives will be happy to greet you at your holiday home to explain the property’s amenities and answer any questions you might have to ensure that your Gozo experience will start on the right path. However, when this is not possible due to a very late check-in, we will discuss in private and explain your self check-in procedure. Our representative will then visit you the following day at your convenience.

Further important information:

All beds consist of a mattress protector, white linen, white 13.5 tog duvets with white duvet covers, 2 pillows per person, 2 décor cushions on each double bed and 1 décor cushion on each single bed and a bed runner on each bed.

For 3-night stays or less each guest will have 1 hand towel, 1 bath towel and 1 pool towel. Additional towels and/or bathrobes can be purchased until 3 days prior your arrival by sending us a message/email or by ordering them directly through your own booking.

For stays of 4 to 7 nights each guest will have 1 hand towel, 2 bath towels and 1 pool towel. Additional towels and/or bathrobes can be purchased until 3 days prior your arrival by sending us a message/email or by ordering them directly through your own booking.

For stays of 12 nights and over, you will be entitled same as for 7 night stays PLUS mid-stay change of linen and towels at a pre-agreed time convenient to you. Additional towels and/or bathrobes can be purchased until 3 days prior your arrival by sending us a message/email or by ordering them directly through your own booking.

Starting pack of 2 toilet paper rolls, 2 hand soaps, 2 body wash bottles (35ml), 2 shampoo bottles (35ml), 2 conditioner bottles (35ml) and 1 floor mat for each bathroom. Additional toiletries can be purchased until 3 days prior your arrival by sending us a message/email. 

Infinite TV channels from most major countries, movies and TV series on-demand, all major live sports events and games and Wi-Fi connection.

1 dishwasher tablet and 1 washing machine 3-in-1 capsule per day booked.

Your holiday rental should be left in a tidy state. Excessive dirt and carelessness might incur an extra charge that will be deducted from the security deposit. Please refer to the Booking Contract page and the Guests’ Responsibilities page on this website for full details.

Our technical staff will do their utmost to repair the appliance within the least possible time. However, in unforeseen circumstances, the appliance might require a 3rd party technical input. This, unfortunately, may not be available immediately. However, in such rare cases, we try to provide an adequate replacement for the faulty appliance.

Cleaning during one’s stay is not included in the price, it comes at an extra charge of 30 euro inclusive of 18% VAT for a 2-hour service. It is highly recommended to pre-book this service the earliest possible especially at peak season.  

 

Gozo is very secure and safe. Cases of robbery are quite rare but caution is highly recommended. Valuables should be stored in a safe place if left at the property when you are roaming around the island. Every property is insured however, one’s belongings are not covered by the insurance policy. We advise the purchase of personal travel insurance to cover for such rare circumstances.

Any complaint has to be acknowledged within the first 18 hours after you check-in. This must be addressed immediately by phone on +356 79490827. The management will do its utmost to deal with the issue in the least possible time.

Cancelling your stay before 28 days prior your arrival date: You will receive full refund of your 25% deposit.

Cancelling your stay between 27 days to 15 days prior your arrival date: You will NOT be refunded your 25% deposit.

Cancelling your stay 14 days or less prior your arrival: You will be charged in full for the entire stay.

We strongly advise the purchase of travel insurance that covers for such loss.

Smoking is strictly not allowed inside any of our holiday homes, however, you are allowed to smoke in designated outdoor areas of each property. We do provide enough ash trays for each rental. It is of utmost importance NOT to DISPOSE of any cigarette butts in the surrounding fields, gardens or planters. Penalties apply if this is reported by our maids upon check-out.

Gozo’s tap water is a blend of groundwater and desalinated water. The potable water produced is disinfected by adding a minimum amount of chlorine. This kills any remaining bacteria in the water but is of a low enough level not to have any effect on your health. However, bottled water is not expensive and can be bought from all supermarkets and groceries around the island. Additionally, we do provide the service of 19-litre water keg dispensers in all of our holiday homes and this will only cost you under €5.

Luckily mosquitoes do not carry any infectious diseases. Our recommendations are to keep the mosquito screens closed as much as possible, to spray insect repellent (provided by us) before you leave the house and to apply anti-mosquito body sprays when you are outdoors in the evenings.
