Meet the Chef

Our chef Joseph, is best known for his friendly character; always willing to accommodate everyone’s taste buds, always wearing a smile and always ready to go that extra mile just to see you all having a wonderful time.

He enjoys the challenges each group brings along but at the heart of all his cooking experiences in our vacation homes, is his spirit of conviviality, especially when he gets to meet young, interested children willing to steal his cooking techniques!

Our chef’s specialities are meat dishes, bbqs and fermentation. Local produce and seasonality are top priorities when he comes to discuss your menu. He thrives in keeping it simple and as authentic as possible but in the end, his own creative touch can be appreciated in each dish. Previous experience includes working in various restaurants across the island, as well as spending 3 years working in a butchery.

Our chef’s services starts way before your arrival:

• he will be in contact to plan and discuss an ideal menu for your occasion;
• he will purchase fresh local produce from the best food markets on the island;
• he will prepare and cook your selected menu at your vacation home;
• he will plate and service all starters and mains and why not, maybe also dessert!

Our chef’s service at your vacation home is 3 hours long. Additional hours may be added on the day at an extra charge. All food and beverages purchased by our chef will have to be paid in cash on the day.
